The color doesn't announce itself. It just sits there — a soft celadon that fades from near-white at the rim down into a deeper sage green toward the base. Natural light moves across it differently at different times of day. That's the thing about ombre glazes done well: they're never quite the same twice.
The teapot has a rattan-wrapped lifting handle and a low, grounded silhouette with embossed botanical relief on the body — leaves and stems pressed into the clay before firing, subtle enough that they read as texture rather than decoration until you look closely.
