Two things are happening at once with this set, and both of them are worth paying attention to.
The first is the enamel. The scrolling floral and vine pattern β dense, multicolor, applied to the matte Ru-kiln clay body β is the kind of decoration that reads differently at different distances. From across the room it registers as texture. Up close, individual flowers and leaves resolve out of the pattern, each one rendered with the kind of detail that only makes sense when you know someone spent time on it. The cream-toned clay beneath keeps the whole thing grounded β the enamel sits on a surface that already has character, not one that needs the decoration to carry it.
The second is the mechanism. The rotating auto-brew system stacks vertically: the upper cylindrical brewing chamber holds the leaves and hot water, and when the steep is complete, a turn of the base releases the tea down through the built-in mesh filter β visible in the close-up shot β and into the fair cup below. Clean, controlled, repeatable. The mesh is fine enough to hold back broken leaf fragments, which matters if you're brewing a finely processed tea.
What's in the set. The stacking auto-brew chamber, a wide-mouth fair cup, six tasting cups, a tea tool holder with accessories, all sitting on a solid walnut tea tray with drainage slots. The walnut is the detail that elevates the whole arrangement β warm grain against cream clay, the kind of material pairing that doesn't need explanation.
This set works for daily use and looks like it belongs on a table where things are taken seriously.
Enamel motif placement varies naturally across pieces. Minor glaze tone variations are characteristic of Ru-kiln style ceramics.
