Most tea sets are about the ceramic. This one is about the dragon.
A full gold dragon sculpture wraps around the auto-brew mechanism at the center of this set β head raised, body coiled, claws gripping the glass vessel from below. It's not an accent or a motif printed onto a surface. It's a three-dimensional casting that forms the structural spine of the entire brewing apparatus. The glass sits inside it; the tea flows through it.
How it works. The upper glass chamber holds the hot water and tea leaves. As the steep completes, the auto-release mechanism β triggered by the water level β sends the brewed tea down through the dragon body and into the glass fair cup below. The pour is visible the entire way: clear borosilicate glass throughout means you watch the color deepen in the upper chamber, see it flow, and catch it in the cup. For visual teas β chrysanthemum, blooming flower, amber-toned oolongs β the effect is worth watching every time.
What's in the set. The gold dragon auto-brew stand with upper glass brewing chamber, a glass fair cup, multiple glass tasting cups, a glass tea canister, a tea tool holder with bamboo accessories, and a full-length black tray that grounds the whole arrangement. The tray trims the setup into something with a defined edge, which the dragon sculpture alone wouldn't give you.
The gold finish on the dragon casting develops a richer tone under warm lighting β the product shots show this clearly. Under ambient light it reads as brass; under a warm bulb it reads closer to gold. Either way, it occupies the table with authority.
This is a statement piece. It doesn't pretend otherwise, and it doesn't need to.
Glass components are borosilicate heat-resistant. Gold dragon casting finish may vary slightly across units.
